The purpose of this program, led by Dr. Rafael Muñoz-Carpena at the Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department, is to conduct Research and Teaching that focus on the hydrological and water quality impacts of the Everglades restoration process on agriculture and natural resources.  The Teaching component seeks to create and make available information and educational materials about water in agricultural production and in natural resources that will improve the compatibility of agriculture with the surrounding natural ecosystem and expanding urban population in Florida.
